t3 – 3 hints of halloween

Group costumes are always a lot of fun. I know from experience. Freshman year of college I had the honor of being a fairy with the beautiful Becca and adorable Amber. I think we just wanted an excuse to wear tutus.

Sophomore year Becca, Chelsea, Lori and I went in a much different direction as the four teenage mutant ninja turtles. Cowabunga!

Then, last year, my whole townhouse rocked the JBU Halloween party as “the women of TLC.” My lovely housemates planned it all out after I had gone to bed. The next morning I learned that I had the honor of portraying the glamorous Honey Boo Boo. I walked on stage alongside Stacy London, the Long Island Medium, Mrs. Duggar, an Extreme Couponer, a Toddler in Tiara and two Breaking Amish. Obviously, we took home first place in the group costume contest.

But this year is the first year I get to be one half of a couple’s costume! We’re newlyweds so we have to get dressed up together, right? Unfortunately, we haven’t done much planning, and we just learned that Daniel’s dental school fraternity is having a party on Friday!

So we’re throwing things together last minute, but I still am excited about our decision. It was Daniel’s idea, which makes it that much better. And, it won’t be too difficult to execute in such a short amount of time.

Here are three hints about our costumes. Let’s see if you can guess what semi-famous couple we will be:

This leading lady is famous for her cute cut. I can’t wait to sport my faux bangs.

#2 – Grandpa Clothes
Daniel will be fabulously frumpy as my other half. Think old flannel and beat up tennies.

#3 – Intensely Awkward
We’ll both be awkward, yet different kinds. Me in a loud, whimsical way. Daniel in a angry, pessimistic one.

Who are we?

P.S. Please don’t guess if we already told you!

Note from Jenny: I have great news! A lot of people have told me that the comments section of my blog didn't work for them. And, I also just learned that Blogger doesn't send you a notification when I respond to your comment - and I always respond to your comments! So I've uploaded Disqus to my blog to manage my comments section. You have to sign up for a Disqus account, but you shouldn't have any problems now. And, don't worry, they will only notify you when I reply to your comment. So go ahead, try it out!

  1. Thank you! It's not going to be super-easy to recognize, but we will have fun so that's all that matters!

  2. Some of "us" might not even recognize in your costumes even after you tell "us" who you are!
