the best year of my life

I know this sounds really cheesy, but 2013 really was the best year of my life {so far}. Just looking back on these highlights, it seems crazy how many major milestones I crammed into 365 days.

Not going to lie, it was incredibly stressful at times, but it's been a great reminder to take things one day at a time and to savor every moment. It's also an awesome reminder of how faithful God has been as I walked {and continue to walk} through many hard transitions.

I can't wait to see what 2014 will bring.

Shout with joy to the Lord, all the earth!
Worship the Lord with gladness.
Come before him, singing with joy.
Acknowledge that the Lord is God!
He made us, and we are his.
We are his people, the sheep of his pasture.
Enter his gates with thanksgiving;
go into his courts with praise.
Give thanks to him and praise his name.
For the Lord is good.
His unfailing love continues forever,
and his faithfulness continues to each generation.

~Psalm 100

  8. You're right... that would of been a big, important thing to include. I guess I was just picking one thing per month and I thought the wedding was the biggest thing in June. But, as you can see, I wasn't thinking clearly - I put the wrong date for our wedding.

    On a different note, thank you for reading my blog so carefully. :)
